East Windsor Volunteer Fire Company #1

This project was started several years ago with the planning and bid preparation it takes many months of research.
After the bid process and spec review of the apparatus with the manufacturer the project started only to be stopped.
The manufacturer American LaFrance filed for bankruptcy protection which was only one of many production delays
Finally almost 4 years later we expect a delivery in late July 2008.
This truck was to be displayed at Wildwood NJ in September of 2007.

Above the cab was constructed prior to painting and below the cab

was through paint and starting to be assembled after being mounted onto the chassis

Below is the pump house CAD drawings and the actual pump house
The XRT generator and hydraulic pump is mounted on top of the pump house

The body with full depth compartments with roll up doors after paint during assembly

The cab and chassis and the body all come together

The front bumper will contain rescue tools
